Hello from Jon at Massage Marketing! I’ve been out of touch with the massage field for the better part of the past six or seven years. The next couple of paragraphs will get you up-to-date with what’s been happening with me, then we can get back to the basics of how to best market your practice.
Life sure can be distracting! I started Massage Marketing nearly 20 years ago, after spending ten years in the 80s and 90s creating marketing materials for hundreds of health-maintenance doctors, like chiropractors, optometrists, and dentists.
Then in 2007, my wife and I became caregivers for both her parents, until her mother passed away earlier this year. Everything else became secondary, including helping therapists with their marketing questions.
Prior to 2007, Massage Marketing was my primary focus, and I stayed very involved creating my massage-client educational newsletter, Staying in Touch®, and consulting with therapists via phone on how to best solve their marketing challenges.
At long last, I’m able to return my focus to Massage Marketing and helping you build and maintain the massage practice you want. Please let me know if there are any areas of your practice you’d like some help or advice. I love connecting with massage therapists; the work you do is vital, and you deserve to succeed!
As I get back to work, my goal is to post to my blog each weekend and share helpful hints and resources to our Massage Marketing FB page several times each week. Be sure to “LIKE” us and “FOLLOW” us there for the latest good news regarding massage and proper health.
You can learn more about us and subscribe to our email list at either www.MassageNewsletters.com or www.MassageMarketing.com. (The latter site is undergoing a complete remodel, which should be complete in early July.)
